Play Time

Which games in the chest are getting played, counted in beads.

Counting the beads…

What gets counted

When a game is opened, the site adds one to that game's tally for the day. If the game stays on screen for 10 seconds, that visit counts as a play, and the seconds it stays on screen are added up. A shorter visit is a peek.

That is everything. Nothing about who is playing is stored: no names, no accounts, no cookies, no IP addresses, no device details. A play is one visit to a game, not one person, so a family around one TV is one play.

For robots: the same numbers as JSON at /api/stats and as a plain-text table at /api/stats?format=text.
